Under this agreement, Flovac joins the Federation as a <strong data-start=\"654\" data-end=\"670\">Main Partner<\/strong>, with the aim of contributing to improved sanitation management across Spanish port facilities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"768\" data-end=\"1279\">The management of wastewater and bilge water remains one of the most complex operational challenges for concessionaires managing marinas and yacht harbours. Requirements arising from the MARPOL Convention, the need to ensure discharge traceability, the protection of water quality within harbour basins, and increasing environmental regulatory pressure demand technical solutions adapted to the specific characteristics of port environments, where conventional sanitation systems present well-known limitations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1281\" data-end=\"1689\">\u201cSanitation is an area where many of our ports still have room for improvement and specific needs. Bringing Flovac on board as a Main Partner allows us to offer our members the expertise of a company that has been working specifically in port environments for decades and that fully understands the technical and regulatory challenges faced by operators,\u201d said Tom\u00e1s Azc\u00e1rate, President of Marinas de Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1691\" data-end=\"2210\">Flovac, present in more than 40 countries and certified under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, specializes in vacuum sewerage systems \u2014 a technology that enables the collection of wastewater and bilge water from both vessels and onshore facilities.
